What we do
Severoo gives players a free game server. Today it hosts Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. A free server has up to 6 GB of RAM, up to 20 GB of NVMe SSD storage and no cap on player slots. It stays online 24/7 as long as you renew it, and renewing is one click, paid for with account credits that are free to collect. The plans page lists the limits.

How we write and check what we publish
The guides, tools and comparisons on this site follow four rules.
- Checked against the source. Version numbers, commands, file names and settings are checked against the game's own documentation and the projects involved, not written from memory.
- Dated. Every guide shows when it was last updated, and anything that ages quickly says which month it was true in.
- Honest about limits. Where a free server is the wrong tool, including ours, we say so.
- Fair to other hosts. Comparisons use what each host states on its own website, with a link and the date we checked. We run a free host ourselves, and every comparison page says that at the top.
